Overcoming Obstacles: Observations to Keep Me Steady

Last time, I told you that I decided to work on my goals for earning financial support and they were:

My #1 Goal is Self-Employment.
My #2 Goal is to be self-employed in a job, or jobs, that I enjoy.
My#3 Goal is to earn a certain amount of assets and regular income by a certain date .

In this entry I will talk about

Critical Personal Observations

-------------------------

Through setting my goals above, I made critical personal observations I believe to be the way I am achieving the success I desire.

And, I realized part of that personal observation would be to shed some incorrect thinking.

Observations

Quickly stated, here are my Goal Related Observations for Achieving Life Satisfaction.

Observations:

-I cannot do everything or be everything to everybody.

-I have to be willing to make choices and sacrifice.

-I have learned to be like "Teflon" and never let the negative "crap" stick.

-I have to be determined and persevere.

-I have realized outside of God's Grace which is freely given, and the love every child deserves, we have no entitlement to anything else--it must be earned.

-I might never be able to achieve the "mental image" of myself which I was before I set my goals.

- What others say or think about me is irrelevant.

Next Time - Developing a Realistic Mental Self-Image

My next post will involve reconciling my Core Values (Tombstone List) with a new set of goals to a Realistic Mental Self-Image.

Until then...take care...
